• What made you choose to join the Gulf Winds team?

I chose Gulf Winds because of the people and company culture. I spoke with several people during my interview process and they all spoke so highly of their colleagues and the culture. I could see their enthusiasm as they spoke, and I knew I wanted to be a part of that! 

• Tell us a little about your background! How long have you been in the industry?

I have been in the shipping industry since 2010. My background has been strictly with steamship lines, all within the sales & customer service departments. I did leave the industry for a couple of years to work for an educational software company, but this industry has a way of always pulling you back in.  

• What is your favorite part about working in the world of Logistics? 

The constant change keeps it challenging! Things can change in a matter of hours, so there are rarely dull moments. 

• What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I play guitar, surf, and love hitting the gym. I also have a 6 year old son who is VERY active, so a lot of my free time is spent keeping up with his interests! A few things include playing sports, hiking, and indoor rock climbing.
